1932 Baby Ben, Style 3 |
Made by:
Westclox |
Stock No: VINT1447 |
Features:
The style three was the first model designed
for Westclox by Henry Dreyfuss. Considered by many to
be the classic Ben style, although it had the shortest run.
If not for it's run during the depression and that the peg
leg style was still being made, this clock may have been
manufactured for many many more years. The movement has a
soft ticking sound and a loud alarm. There is a
Loud/Soft adjustment for the alarm. |
Dimensions:
3 1/4" tall, 3" wide
at the base |
Condition:
This is
very nice example of the style 3. The clock is 100% original.
The movement has been serviced and
it runs and alarms as it should. This clock is VERY GOOD
overall, showing only minor indications of use.
The original paint is 95% intact. The
original dial is EXCELLENT. This color scheme of
maroon case and copper trim is by far the rarest for this
model. Only one in twenty was manufactured in this
color. |
